Solipsism is not even worth discussing, I mean honestly. It's just plain stupid.

For instance, I could ask you the color of my roommates hair.
Not only do you not know of the existence of the person in question, you have no idea if they even have hair or what color that hair is.

Yet I do know the answers to all of these questions. Can you explain that?

And if so, why in the world are you trying to explain a concept like this to yourself? I mean, if you know it already, shouldn't I?

In summary, solipsism doesn't provide any basis for knowledge that you don't have. It's an inconsistent worldview and doesn't work.
