We've updated to a new version (Sheep has a full changelog coming soon) - with it there is a new PM system.
It's not finished yet, hopefully it should be very soon, but mostly it's there. The main attraction is PM's are grouped by person, with the last person to PM you appearing first etc. etc. which allows you to keep track of conversations.
There is also a folders feature allowing you move messages out of the inbox into your own folders. We also now have sent items support.
