I agree, the CGI is a distraction from the whole thing. What a waste of "get bigger spray" btw. Clearly he should have bought model of a shuttle and then sprayed it on that and explored the solar system with it :P
The first one seems very much in the roadrunner tradition, second one too but it was quite short, and seemed to focus too much on emphasising the fact it's CGI so they can do funky camera moves and things, which takes away from it.
His men will follow him anywhere, but only out of curiosity.

It'd be great if just for one cartoon the road runner stops, does his beep beep thing then his head simply explodes....Pan round too coyote aiming through a sniper rifle on a cliff. Roll credits.

...And now here is a preview of one of the Road Runner CGI cartoons for the Looney Tunes Show, which looks not so great:
I love Roadrunner but these new CGI toons on Cartoon Network just don't seem as funny as the originals, and the CGI is offputting to me.
