So with Windows phones, you can't just upload Mp3's and use a media player, you need to use Zune? Way to copy Apple, I hate having to use iTunes for my iPod.
Looks like a great phone though. Just a things really. Firstly having to reset it just to replace the SD card is amazingly retarded. Secondly, does only having 3 buttons make it hard to play games? I know it has Xbox Live and a few good game offerings, have you tried any of them?

No, not really. Most of the games I have played so far, (all demos sadly, dont have cash right now) have used the touch screen. Since there is no other option :P

I've always been a bit 50/50 on touch screen gaming. Does it play well?
Depends on the game, most have been good, but a few have been like... WHY?

You should invest in a Zune Pass, I've got one and I find it to be well worth the money. You're basically paying $15 per month to borrow as much music as you want from the Zune Marketplace, the only condition being that you can only keep it as long as you keep paying the $15 per month. You do get to keep any songs you purchase the traditional way though, and they also give you 10 free song credits per month that are as good as money- pay with those and you still get to keep the music if you cancel your subscription.

The Samsung Focus:
So... Its my first smartphone personally, but not my first use of one. My cousins got an iPhone, my parents Blackberrys and a friend has Android. So sufficed to say, I have dabbled in all of the phone OS.
My first impressions of it was good. Great layout, screen is actually readable in direct sunlight, (thats saying something for phones in general) and its very fluid. I uploaded all my contacts from my Simm card. When I logged into my Facebook, which is integrated into the phone (for the full Facebook, you have to download an app however) it automatically matched names and numbers and linked the contacts, as well as bringing my friends list from FB onto my phone, with their numbers, effectively making the need to add contacts irrelevant.
Now, I had to put all of my music and stuff onto a Zune account, but it was worth it. Everything I had on my iPod Touch is now on my phone, pretty much letting me have only one device. Zune too itself on the phone is great, you can buy songs on your phone if you have a Card on your account. You can buy movies too, but it has to be on the computer, then transferred.
I havent has a singe freeze yet, or anything that has caused the phone to glitch or crash. I was able to integrate my Xbox Account into the phone as well, so I can always check my account and friends, even play games and get GS for them!
Now the phone itself... its lightweight, and has only 3 buttons, the Power Button, Volume and Camera buttons. The Camera is amazing, at 5MP's it takes HD videos and pictures, that really do look great on a computer screen. Its got an expendable memory slot for up to 32GB's which would bring it up to 40GB of memory, thought I only have 16, 8 Internal, 8 on a Card. That in itself is a bit of a bugger though, as I can now never take it out, without resetting the phone to factory settings.
The Screen too, its something called Super AMOLED. Its amazingly clear and sharp, and every video I have played on it so far as looked amazing.
Now the Battery... because it is a smartphone, doesnt last very long. Conservatively, I have gotten it to last 2 and a half days, thats replying to calls and texts only. Using everything however, it lasts just under a day. I do however charge my devices every night anyways, so it doesn't matter to me.
Overall... I think its a great phone, I absolutely love it.
Microsoft too, has been super supportive of it. Their next software update will include integrating Twitter into the People Hub. (Where contacts are, which already has FB status integrated.) And in their last update, the people asked for Copy Paste function, and they got it.
Only real Downside I have found so far is the Apps. While some of the more major ones are already here, with some coming soon, its lacking the large diversity that Apple or Android has. But of course, that comes with age, since WP7, is a vast improvement over WP6 (it as was shit, friend upgraded to Android from it.) Though, like I said, it will come in time.
