FileSheep is now a great basic forum, but we need to now think about how to move forward in making FS more "unique" as a forum software offering.

We need ideas on what you, as the consumer, would like to see from free forum software that either isn't available on the market now, or isn't particularly well implemented by the current available free software.

Any and all ideas will be taken into serious consideration and, if it's plausible to do, we'll look at putting it in.

Perhaps having a "The top ten" section were people can put in lists. Notice alot of these sites springing up recently an the lists are mostly piss poor. It'd be good if you (Dan

/Sheep) could personally review a list after submission before its visable to everyone else. Then a certain quality could be maintained. A rating system for said lists could also be

implemented.


Also a means to order posts by date/replies could be cool.

And maybe an email notification to a thread starter when somebody replies to their topic.

And the ability to view peoples post history would be handy. Most forums seem to have it.

Perhaps some kind of "Sin Bin" feature would be good. The ability for members to downrate/uprate a thread till it ends up in the sin bin section. Would essentially enable automatic moderation of forums based on the will of the masses.

An optional profanity filter may appeal to some as well.
