Seems to be the regular now for Zetaboards. I never noticed it until now because my PC laptop had adblock.

If you don't know what these things are I'll tell you. They pretend to be articles and news stories to try to sell their product. And it is always a simple thing that whatever it touches turns to gold and cures cancer, so to speak. Something recently discovered by scientists that is the answer to everything. It usually comes with a free trial, you just have to pay 2 up front. However, no matter what you do once you ask for that free trial, they will start charging huge amounts of cash month after month, usually 80. So, they are too good to be true scams.

The really bad ones pretend to be made up news sites, complete with a convincing layouts and even a fake user comment section on the bottom, praising how good the product is. These are terrible as these ads show up on ACTUAL NEWS WEBSITES. MAJOR ONES.

And desperate people still fall for them again and again.

I suppose there is the element of, "how stupid do you have to be" - but clearly enough people are or they wouldn't exist. -_-
